SD31 Day at the Capitol
Each year, I like to host a District Day at the Capitol.
This is a great networking opportunity for neighbors to meet and talk with me about their legislative priorities, learn about Colorado’s state capitol, socialize with other people in SD31, and eat food! I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to represent everyone in this amazing community, and each year I look forward to hosting my constituents at the Capitol.
Stellar Student Day
As a proud parent, I know how great it is to see students thrive, and I want to do my part by recognizing their accomplishments.
Each year, I ask the principals in my district to nominate a student who they believe should be recognized for his or her excellence in academics, athletics, arts, extracurriculars, or overcoming obstacles. Then I invite the students and their parents to the Capitol to shadow me for the day and receive a certificate for their achievements.
